Synopsis
A typical American family goes to the beach. Their seemingly perfect life is turned upside-down when the mother Carol, who has long felt overlooked in her marriage, kisses a lifeguard and is caught by her husband.

Director Biography
Frederikke Aspöck was born in 1974 in Denmark. She holds an MFA in Filmmaking from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University and a BA in set design from Wimbledon School of Art in London. Aspöck has directed several short films, including her thesis film Happy Now, which won the Cinéfondation First Prize in 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Out of Bounds (2011) is her feature debut. It premiered in the Official Selection in Cannes 2011 and was awarded the Golden Star Grand Prize at Marrakech International Film Festival.
