THE DARDENNE BROTHERS AT KUSTENDORF 2012
The renowned Belgian directors Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne arrived to Kustendorf 2012 in the afternoon hours of the fifth day. The Dardenne brothers won numerous awards, including two Palmes D'Ors at the Cannes Film Festival – one in 1999 for Rosetta and the other six years later for The Child. Their most recent movie, The Kid with a Bike – which will be screened as part of the CONTEMPORARY TRENDS programme – won the Grand Prix at Cannes 2011. After the screening, the Dardenne brothers will hold a workshop for students and guests of the festival.
