Future Movies Award for Gordan Mihić
On the third day of Küstendorf, Gordan Mihić, renowned Serbian screenwriter, playwright and film director, was presented with the Award for Future Movies by professor Emir Kusturica.
Before Mihić was presented with the award, the audience saw an homage retrospective of Mihić’s work. The director said that the film actually “honored all those people who are unfortunately no longer with us, but whose legacy is great.”
Mihić reflected on the cooperation with Kusturica which started 30 years ago, and continued to this day on Kusturica’s latest film On the Milky Road, which was screened afterwards.
