The Beheading of St John the Baptist
Synopsis
A portrait of a family and its black sheep and the youngest member, Jovan. We follow them during a single day and in a single space, as they are celebrating The Beheading of St John the Baptist, their patron saint day, in their apartment. The parents are hiding their impending divorce from Jovan and their guests, while Jovan tries to hide his drug habit, as he hopes to get abducted by the aliens that would relaease him from his desperate and pointless existence as an Earthling. Things slowly escalate. Fueled by celebratory atmosphere and alcohol, as well as with the arrival of an unannounced guest, family secrets and conflicts get revealed.
