Synopsis
An Iranian who grew up in a European country after the death of his parents goes to Iran, a country that he considers to be his homeland, but Iran turns out not to be the country he imagined, nor the one his parents told him about. After a collision with a harsh reality leaves him with a desire to return back to the comfort zone where everything is clear, a chance meeting with a woman suddenly helps him to see another homeland, tender and passionate.

Hamidreza Ghasemi was born in 1996 in Iran. When he was 15, he went to cinema school, then he became a participant in the Cinema Youth Society of Iran. Then he studied at Scenario Faculty in Isfahan City, at Fine Arts University. During that period he learned about the history of cinema and about Russian cinematography. Then he went to VGIK in Russia and studied in two courses – fiction cinema workshop of Alexander Kott and Vladimir Kott, and scenario workshop of Rustam Ibragimbekov. His filmography also includes short films The Cage (2018) and Without Him (2020), as well as series Friendzone (2021).
