8/5 | 24:00 | Di Luna Blues Band
Di Luna Blues Band was formed in 1989 with the foremost aim to share the joy of music making and love for the blues through live performances. A large number of performances, as well as an ever present good vibes speak volumes during more than 30 years of continuous existence. They have participated in numerous domestic and international festivals (Belgrade Beer Festival, Exit Festival, Nishville Jazz Festival, Enter Festival, Summertime Jazz Festival, VOXstock, Valjevo Jazz Festival, Sabac Jazz Festival, North City, Marsoni Blues Fest, FIAT, Blues Summit Podgorica). They often share the stage with the world’s biggest jazz and blues stars (Ten Years After, Diane Schuur, Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Mick Taylor, Joe Zawinul).
Under the leadership of Dragan Marković Mare, the current line-up is composed of some of the best blues musicians in Serbia. Dragan Marković Mare is the founder of the first blues band in the former Yugoslavia (Blues Quintet), and with his second band (Point blank) he recorded the first blues record in this region in 1983.
