Three Russian sailors have been stranded aboard a fishing trawler off the coast of the Peruvian port city of Chimbote. The shipowner company went bankrupt and the crew has abandoned the ship. Krystof, his younger brother and the skipper, however, do not have money enough to go back home. Commuting between the ship and the port for their mundane daily needs, the three men survive the best they can, while awaiting what to do next.
