Pavel Ruzyak studied at Babelsberg Film University Konrad Wolf in Germany and at film school FAMU in Prague department of directing, where he obtained Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2016. He directed fiction films and documentaries, short and middle-length. His films were screened in competition in many international film festivals in Europe. Pavel was also selected to participate in international talent film workshops, co-operations, pitches around the world. He worked for the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary for several years. He worked as a 2^nd Assistant Director  during the shooting of one of the leading contemporary Czech directors Robert Sedláček on his Czech Century project.

Pavel is currently working on feature film projects, already selected for pitching events at Vilnius Film Festival, Beldocs Film Festival Belgrade, Trieste Film Festival, Figari Film Festival and Riga International Festival, among others.
